While in a meeting with the Supreme Court judges, Jorge Rojas filed his retirement application. After working for 38 years in the OIJ Rojas is set to retire next month. Rojas had worked previously in the Robbery Department, Traffic Section, and was in charged of the Criminal Investigation Department. In 2001 Jorge Rojas was named the head of the OIJ.
